Loved the H-O-T roll! Cream cheese, spicy tuna, avocado and jalapeno! The chicken teriyaki was good too!

I had read online that this place had gluten free options, so decided to try it when I was in town. They have a list of GLUTEN-CONTAINING ingredients, which you can use to guide you when ordering. They will eliminate or sub items of there's a issue. They also have GF soy sauce on request. I ordered a Philadelphia roll and one they call Coconut Gigolo, which has coconut, mango, cilantro, and peanut butter! To make it GF, I asked for cooked shrimp (ebi) in place of tempura shrimp and no sauces. Their "crispies" are tiny fried potato strings. It took 30 minutes to get the order, and it was missing the cooked shrimp. I had to go to the counter and ask for it. Once I had all my food though, I really enjoyed it. The Coconut Gigolo was delicious and I've never had a roll like it before!

This is my wife and my go to for a date night. Servers are always friendly, food is amazing and cost to serving size is great.

I'm a Hospitality Consultant and travel all over the country. I feel so lucky I have a friend in Wichita to stop and visit, because every time I do, we go here and gorge ourselves. This place is in my top 3 Sushi places in the country.

FYI, The guy in the pic had his mask off when we were eating. He is wearing gloves and had his mask around his neck. He sneezed into his arm (without a mask on) and then kept on working. We asked him to wash his hands and put his mask on. He ran the water but never took off his gloves. He put his mask on but didnt have it cover his nose. We left. I will not be returning.

Very long wait times and bad service. We have ordered to go several times. They say 25-30 minutes but it takes more than an hour. Every time. We ate in, and we waited for a server for 20 minutes. Wet had to ask someone to take our order. Then it took unbelievably long to get the food.

Walked in at 6:00 p.m. to a half empty restaurant to place a to go order. I was told by the severely distracted waitress that it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes and she would bring it to me in the waiting area. She handed me a ticket for $45 and change and I tipped $5.00 because she said she would bring me the order. As I waited I saw the restaurant begin to fill to capacity and people were beginning to have to wait for seating. I waited until 6:45 p.m. to ask about my order. I was told it had been done for some time, I stated that the waitress said she would bring it to me in the waiting area with a response of sorry with out really caring. Now I have sushi that is no longer warm. Save yourself time and do not ever do business here ever. This is not the first time this place has sucked, but I am sure it will be the last for me as I will never ever ever ever return. Hope they go out of business. This place sucks...

So fresh, so good, so clean, and good customer service. Best sushi in Wichita in my opinion!!!!. If you looking for sushi in Wichita, I recommended you to try out this place. Fact... I usually don’t eat raw fish, actually I don’t like fish because of the fishiness but this place knows what to do with their fish and I enjoy eating there.

Possibly some of the best tasting sushi I've ever had was a little slow I felt getting my food but I felt it was all freshly made and the taste was excellent

Delicious and affordable with friendly staff! However, they do not have a changing table in the restroom, this made changing my littles diaper a bit of a challenge.

I came here with my family and it was the best sushi restaurant in the area. Especially the salmon, I would highly recommend it. It is also reasonable in price range as well.

Eaten here several times, and have never been disappointed. Would definitely recommend. Our waitress was very friendly, and very knowledgeable of the menu items.

The food and service at Wasabi Sushi Bar west was outstanding. The staff did a great job with social distancing and cleanliness. They had a great variety of sushi rolls and menu options. I highly recommend the Hawaiian roll if you like a roll with a little spice and savory flavor; the seaweed salad was also noteworthy. I highly recommend Wasabi Sushi Bar West.

Sushi is great and priced well! Staff is always kind! If you place a take out order give them an extra ten minutes from the time they quote you as they always run a little late.

Open until 10:30 for us late night eaters. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. We had the super tiger and premium lobster rolls, delicious. My entire family agrees that we would go there again.

In my opinion, the best Wasabi in Wichita(there are three). I live out east, but whenever I'm anywhere near the place, I go there!

Miso was lukewarm, avacado salad was fair. However, sashimi was disgusting. The tuna was almost grainy and had a horrible aftertaste. I developed horrible diarrhea from likely food poisoning from this place starting 16 hours after eating here. My wife had a baked roll so you would think she would be safe- but no, she has diarrhea also. I will not be returning.

The Philadelphia Roll is the best I've had. The rest is great too. Clean, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Would recommend.

Really fast ordering over the phone, quick pickup times, and always delicious.

The food was good but service was lackluster. It took us a while figuring out our order since it was our first time here, and our server was attentive and checked on us twice while we looked at the menu. Once we placed our order we never saw her again. It was a chore to get drink refills as we had to get the attention of someone each time rather than having a server come by checking on us like she had prior to our order.

Excellent calamari! I have a hard time finding places who make it just right. I was expecting sushi like I get at Dillon's, but this was way better. My 1st time eating actual sushi. (On his plate not mine) I didn't realize the texture but it wasn't bad! I'll definitely be back!

I called in a Togo order an hour before to make sure that it would be ready, when I went to pick it up they hadn’t even started it. The manager was rude and told me that it wasn’t her problem. She then said she would give me 30% off after I already paid. The sushi is FANTASTIC but they obviously don’t care if we come back. Horrible costumer service.

I love wasabi. But the downtown one is definitely better when it comes to service.
